"My name is Christa Watkins I am 21yrs old. I am an aspiring 2nd Unit Cinematographer. This is the story of how I got to where I am.

One day I meet a member of the Diamond in the RAW foundation and she was speaking about the entertainment field and I thought Whoa this is the perfect time for me to take a leap of faith into the entertainment field. She spoke about the many careers available in the entertainment field."

On Monday, I had the fun experience of meeting a lot of famous people on the set of Janky Promoters a new Ice Cube movie.  I actually was really grateful that Kelli picked me to go on this trip because I enjoyed myself very much.  My favorite part was seeing Lil JJ rap, but unfortunately he was booed off the stage by the crowd but I guess that was a part of making a movie or video.  I was able to hear all about the other workers experiences and why they loved their jobs.  I also liked taking pictures with them, that’s always fun.  Next time I’ll ask a lot of more questions about the types of jobs in this industry because it sort of inspired me to do this type of work when I get older.
